GOOMBAY SMASH |
|
Ingredients:
1/2 oz. dark rum
1 oz. light rum
1/2 oz. coconut rum
2 oz. fresh orange Juice
2 oz. cranberry Juice.
Method:
Fill a 10 oz. glass with ice.
Add all ingredients, except the dark rum. Cover with shaker shell
and shake vigorously. Remove cover and gently float the dark
rum over the top of the drink.
Garnish:
Garnish this rum-based tropical
juice cocktail with an orange wedge and maraschino cherry.

HIBISCUS |
Ingredients:
1 oz. light rum
1/2 oz. coconut rum
5 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. cranberry juice
Method.
Combine all of the ingredients
in a 12 oz. glass filled with ice. Cover with shaker shell and
shake vigorously.
Garnish:
Garnish this light, refreshing
summer drink with an orange wedge and a maraschino cherry.

KEY LIME SHOOTER |
Ingredients:
1 oz. light rum
1/2 oz. liquor 43 (vanilla based liquor)
1/2 oz. sweet and sour mix
1/2 oz. Rose's Lime Juice
1/2 oz. fresh orange Juice
1/2 oz. half & half
Method.
Combine all of the ingredients
in a large mixing glass filled with ice. Cover with shaker shell
and shake vigorously. Strain into a large chilled martini glass.
Garnish:
Garnish this festive
concoction, reminiscent of our world famous Key Lime Pie, with
a lime wedge.

MARGARITA ESPECIAL |
|
Ingredients:
1 oz. Cuervo Gold tequila
1/2 oz. Cointreau (orange-flavored liqueur)
2 oz. fresh orange Juice
5 oz. sweet & sour
mix
lime wedge
1 tsp. kosher salt
Method.
Rub the lime wedge around
the rim of a 10 oz. tall glass. Roll the rim of the glass in
the kosher salt and shake off the excess. (If you prefer your
margarita without salt, omit this step.) Combine all of the above
ingredients in a 12 oz. mixing shaker filled with ice. Cover
and shake vigorously. Pour the chilled margarita into the prepared
glass.
Garnish:
Garnish this tangy south-of-the-border
favorite with a lime wedge.

SPANISH COFFEE |
|
Ingredients:
1/2 oz. 151 rum
1/2 oz. Kahlua
1/2 oz. Cointreau (orange-flavored
liqueur)
5 oz. hot coffee
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
1 orange slice
Method.
Rub the orange slice
around the rim of an 8 oz. glass coffee mug. Roll the rim of
the glass in the sugar. Fill with 151 rum, Kahlua and Cointreau.
Then add the nutmeg and cinnamon. Top with the coffee.
This "warm the bones"
cure-all, relax-all, should be topped with a dollop of whipped
cream. Drizzle a tad bit more of Kahlua over top and enjoy.
